We seek a hands-on, customer-centric, target-driven Account Manager, who has a passion for delivering customer delight and growing market share.
Key accountabilities:
- Excellence in business development, account management and customer service
- Opportunity creation
- Stakeholder management
- Creating and managing briefs from concept to completion
- Performance Reporting (commercial) at senior level
- Achievement of sales target
- You will be required to collaborate and work effectively cross-functionally and inter-departmetnally on each project to deliver the best outcome.
- BCom/Business Science degree or any related Tertiary Business qualification in Sales & Marketing
- Min. 5 yrs selling experience B2B in an Account Management and business development role managing blue chip accounts
- Experience in team dynamics (has worked as part of team environment / cross functional teams)
- Understanding of and ability to do market research (landscape, clients, competitors)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Comfortable presenting (pitching) to C-suite executives and senior management
- Highly competent in MS Office / G Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Experience of working with CRM systems
- Understanding the world of BTL agency and (preferably) in-store / Point of Sale / display selling (advantageous)
- Analytical, organised and comfortable with managing tasks and process adherence
- Strong with administration within the sales process and customer management
- A firm understanding of commerce (the sales world)
- A resilient, self-starter with a positive mindset who sees what is possible
- Good EQ (able to listen and be aware of self in situations)
- Curiosity (looks beyond the obvious)
- Critical thinking (willing to challenge where necessary & appropriate)
