Senior Engineer, DevX platform

Technology need:
  • Programming: Kotlin, TypeScript
  • Cloud expertise (AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Ambassador, Helm
  • Experience with Github Actions or similar CI tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, TravisCI
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery tools such as ArgoCD
  • Previous involvement in library development
Tasks on the agenda:
  • Technical Excellence: Drive Greenlight's Mobile Platform Development, Testing, and Release strategy for both mobile and backend systems. Collaborate with various teams to enhance code delivery efficiency from development to production.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering managers, quality engineers, and other teams to create solutions that meet business and developer requirements. Effectively communicate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Innovation: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to enhance platform capabilities by integrating new technologies.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assist in the recruitment process by identifying and interviewing potential candidates. Contribute to team growth by attracting top-tier engineering talent and supporting their development.
Qualifications:
  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Over 6 years of experience leading Mobile infrastructure and delivery teams, with a strong background in developer enablement and tooling development
  • Past experience in hiring, managing, and mentoring engineering teams
  • Proficient in Core iOS and Android frameworks and SDKs
  • Familiarity with the global mobile ecosystem and expertise in iOS and Android App Store release processes
  • Thorough understanding of CI/CD concepts, including mobile release practices and tools
  • Ability to guide large engineering teams towards Mobile development and release practices
  • Skilled in providing mentorship, career development, and performance management
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make innovative technical decisions
