Role Overview:

Key Qualifications:

1. Degree in Engineering or MBA in Operational Management from reputed institutes.

4. Excellent Communication

Experience/Exposure:

1. Minimum 8 years of experience, preferred from large manufacturing setups.

2. Experience and knowledge in:

History of Toyota, lean concepts, principles, behaviours, and systems.

Visual management: visualization of activities for focus and concern management.

Continuous focus on key performance indicators and tangible improvements through Lean &

Six Sigma.

Planning: transforming vision and strategy into practical plans with clear goals and objectives.

Influencing & Persuasive Skills

Key Technical Skills:

Six Sigma Black Belt

Lean tools

MS Suites (SharePoint, Power BI, etc.)

Project Management

Lead process robustness-quality improvement-capacity-productivity-cost improvement projects

Value Stream Mapping

Critical Process Mapping

Proven experience & knowledge in complex problem-solving/root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute performance metrics aligned with global goals.

Lead site projects as the Local PMO, ensuring seamless execution.

Implement lean methodologies and drive continuous improvement.

Develop a Lean-Six Sigma roadmap, fostering a culture of innovation.

Train and empower team members to achieve operational excellence.

Spearheaded sustainable initiatives to elevate Lean maturity and profitability.

- Drive Site Performance Metrics aligned with global organizational goals:

Set clear goals, improvement projects, and KPIs.

Establish effective governance for daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring.

Manage KPIs through electronic boards.

- Act as Local PMO for all Site-related Projects:

Coordinate with stakeholders for timely execution.

Define governance structure for project monitoring.

Drive implementation and improvement of lean methodologies:

Conduct routine effectiveness checks of 5S, Kaizen, Gemba, etc.

Ensure continuous process improvement through Lean and Six Sigma projects.

- Define a 2-3 years Lean-Six Sigma roadmap for the site:

Identify core team members and provide appropriate training.

Drive achievement of Lean Six Sigma roadmap.

Foster a culture of innovation for continuous improvement.

Drive sustainable initiatives to improve Lean Maturity at the site.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the overall quality and profitability of the organization.

Preferred Skills:

PMP certification.
