Accountable for evolving and driving the product vision & strategy for the product, partnering with business stakeholders to set the future direction as part of the wider business strategy.

Writing user stories, creating backlogs and setting priorities the person will demonstrate proficiency in understanding future trends in the area and be able to explain these to senior stakeholders.

Mentor team-members and help them evolve and develop into great product managersExperience in retail industry a plus, in product quality good, but not a must.

Role and responsibilities


Will evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and the long-term roadmapWill proactively partner with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of the product as part of the wider business strategyUnderstand key user personas, customers & stakeholders for the product and their pain pointsAccountable for the performance/ adoption of the product and work towards achieving the Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)Prioritize work and decisively resolve trade-offs with peers and senior leadersEffectively document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories with acceptance criteria and help the team in breaking down complex work into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster.

Steer sprint/ release planning sessions by working with the engineering counterparts to plan sprints/ releases that deliver maximum business value in least effortDrive the acceptance and adoption of ideas and improvements with product teams and engineering stakeholdersPrioritise coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues independentlyProvide leadership and direction to cross functional team (s) on short-term tasks/ near-term prioritiesProvide leadership and direction to his direct reportees and shape the individuals, help in their professional development
