The Company operates a B2B fulfillment platform covering the product lifecycle from research and development to manufacturing of specialty chemicals. The in-house value engineering team consists of chemical research, process research, and analytical research teams, supporting manufacturers in a science-first approach.

The team has extensive experience in Pharmaceutical APIs, Industrial Chemicals, Personal Care, Food Ingredients, etc. Members have held leadership positions in renowned companies like ITC, Olam, BASF, etc. The company is backed by Venture Capital and trusted by investors.


Position Overview & Responsibilities:
- Seeking a Business Development and Marketing professional with a background in the Polymer Industry to shape market presence, form alliances, and drive revenue growth.

Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research in the Polymer Industry for India and export markets. Develop sales strategies based on competitive intelligence to enter new markets and acquire customers.

Own your PnL:
- Meet PnL targets, manage cash flows, generate leads, and provide accurate sales forecasts. Collaborate with internal teams for order fulfillment.

Hustle for building a Business:
- Establish connections with end customers in the Polymer Industry ecosystem, negotiate deals, and address customer inquiries for better conversion rates.

Product Prowess:
- Identify market gaps in specified industries and product categories. Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and regulatory changes in the Industrial Chemical market.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. MBA is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development of specialty chemicals, with expertise in Antioxidants, UV Stabilisers, Color Pigments, etc.
- Experience in selling commodity polymers and a strong customer network are advantageous. Proven ability to build impactful business relationships, adapt to market trends, and regulatory requirements.
