This role is for an Enterprise Data Communication Associate.


This is a role within the Enterprise Data Team (EDT) focused on enabling colleagues to unlock the potential of data for M&G plc.

and realise tangible value.

As an Enterprise Data Communication Associate, you will provide a critical support function for embedding a positive data driven culture across the organisation which encourages advocacy and literacy, helping the Enterprise Data Team build partnerships across business lines and educate and inspire teams to become data-driven decision makers.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of the Enterprise Data Communication Strategy/plan.
  • Deliver against the EDT Communications Plan through leveraging M&G communication channels to deliver clear, consistent and tailored communications.
  • Support production of content for various levels of stakeholders/key audience groups e.g. Executive Committee, All Colleagues, Data Role Holders, Data Communities.
  • Act as a champion of data and identify areas of the business where additional support is required to assist them developing their skills.
  • Define KPI's to track and monitor progress/success of the communication strategy.
  • Partner with internal communications, engagement and branding teams to ensure adherence to requirements and guidelines.
  • Work with external teams to support with the creation of material related to and delivery of training, events and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders ensuring that the function delivers a quality service.
  • Assess and refine communication approaches based on feedback and behavioural change, running pilots which can be scaled to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Drive campaigns which will support the adoption of Enterprise Data Technology/tools and processes.
  • Produce the creative design required to support Enterprise Data Artefacts and processes e.g. wireframes, graphics, user interface designs, show and tells.
  • Support the creation and management of communities across Data Delivery, Management, Governance, Architecture and Exploitation, ensuring alignment with the EDT objectives and vision.
  • Support with the creation and maintenance of Data Management material so colleagues are aware of their responsibilities whilst producing, consuming and distributing data e.g. handbooks, elearning, animation videos.
  • Manage and maintain the knowledge repository and communications on the EDT Portal.

  • Proven track record in writing and delivering communications to a range of audiences in order to drive cultural change.
  • Creative and graphic design experience across animation, videography, infographics etc.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of using proven behavioural change design and techniques driven from fields such as behavioural science, psychology and organisational change management.
