Job Overview:

The Manager- Global HR will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice President of Global HR in executing company-wide initiatives related to strategic HR functions, culture, performance management, audits, and compliance. This position requires a seasoned HR professional with a global mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with local HR teams. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between the VP of Global HR and HR managers in India and Costa Rica, ensuring the seamless implementation of initiatives and the establishment of standardized processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with overall business objectives and support the organization's global growth and expansion plans.

Onboarding and Induction: Work alongside talent acquisition teams to support global talent acquisition efforts, including onboarding and induction processes to ensure the organization retains top talent.

Employee Relations: Manage and enhance employee relations globally, ensuring a positive work environment, addressing conflicts, and promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusion.

Compensation and Benefits: Develop and track global compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees while ensuring compliance with local regulations and market competitiveness.

Performance Management: Using the HRMS, implement global performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms, to drive employee development and organizational performance.

Learning and Development: Support global learning and development initiatives to enhance employees' skills and capabilities, aligning with organizational goals and addressing skill gaps.

HR Compliance: Update global HR policies and SOPs; ensure global HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws, regulations, and cultural norms, while also aligning with the organization's values and goals.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Employee Engagement: Implement programs to measure and enhance employee engagement globally, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and initiatives to improve the overall employee experience.

HR Technology: Oversee the adoption and management of HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, enhance data analytics, and improve decision-making.

Global Mobility: Manage global mobility programs, including international assignments, transfers, and expatriate policies, to support the organization's global workforce needs.

Global Coordination: Coordinate with HR teams in India, Costa Rica, and the USA to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Coordinate with teams such as Marketing and relevant external partners to further HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on global initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and ability to navigate employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in working with DarwinBox or similar HRMS tools.

Notes:

Must maintain regular overlap with US timings for at least half day to facilitate real-time communication and support.
