This is a hands-on development position for a candidate with proven record of DB software development and execution excellence.

The candidate has industry experience (preferably in Financial Services) in supporting enterprise applications across various business units and has good exposure to Cloud based database engineering platforms.

This is someone who has demonstrable cloud native development experience using backend databases in the cloud.

The candidate has excellent development and problem-solving skills, someone with creativity and self-motivation to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines andpeting priorities.

What you will be responsible forDemonstrating strong experience in Oracle RDBMS, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Databricks, Python, Shell scriptingDemonstrating strong expertise in AWS Cloudputing services and implementing data integration solutions for multiple platforms in SSGA.Design, develop and maintain applications leveraging cloud native architecture principles and technologies.

Deploying high performing, quality/bug-free code in production.
Executing unit test of data populated in target data container, validating expected result and ensuring quality and accuracy.
Coordinating with business users for User Acceptance Testing and with Operations team for code deployment to upper environments.
Ensuring all cloud solutions exhibit higher level of cost efficiency, performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Following change management team stipulations on path to production requirements and strictly adhering to thepliance and regulatory needs.
Collaborating with cross functional team members as necessary and producing optimal solutions that meet data demands and standards.
Participating in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.

Providing technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.

Working with a team of BSA, Development, QA and DevOps engineers in agile framework.
Anticipating, monitoring, managing and reporting all risk andpliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities.

Acting in accordance with Risk Excellence and role model Ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundation.

Keeping up to date on the latest cloud database technologiesExperience with event based, micro-batch and batched high volume and high velocity transaction and data processing system.

Proficiency with CICD and DevOps.
Ability to work in an on-shore/off-shore model working with development teams across continents.
Capable and effective in cross team collaboration like Enterprise teams, Architecture and Product Teams.
