About the Role:

As an OPT Recruiter, you will play a key role in identifying and recruiting top-tier international students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) for our company. You will source candidates from a variety of channels, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and help prepare candidates for success in their job search.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source OPT/CPT candidates from job boards, universities, social media platforms, and personal networks.
  • Build strong relationships with universities and career centers to stay informed about upcoming graduates and their qualifications.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for open positions.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' technical abilities and soft skills.
  • Prepare candidates for client interviews by providing information about the company, role, and interview process.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of OPT/CPT regulations and eligibility requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and in-demand skills for OPT candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in the IT industry or with OPT/CPT candidates.
  • Strong understanding of the US immigration system, particularly OPT/CPT regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
