Technical Sales Engineer

LIN SCAN Provide complete Solutions to all aspects of all aspects of In Line- Solutions in the oil and gas industry and ensure pipeline integrity by providing highly accurate information for Maintenance and Repair Programs.
LIN SCAN innovations are based on continuous product & services improvements & developments. We have the second-largest fleet of intelligent In-line inspection tools & full range of pipeline diameters from 2" to 56" in the world and have designed and manufactured inspection systems utilizing the latest technologies and highly skilled people.
Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities Document all associated inquiries received from clients. Ensure that all new inquiries are assigned to proper project number. Obtain approval to bid or decline. Prepare cost estimate and propose a price for the project. Prepare technical proposals and submit to territory director. Prepare bid bond requirements. Coordinate with other departments within LIN SCAN during the bidding or prequalification stage. Coordinate with Finance department to prepare and develop the cost estimate for the project. Request Operations to conduct the site survey if appropriate. Update customer information and Corporate EMS: create enquiries timely; follow the sales flow chart while bidding for a job; transfer the project timely after LIN SCAN confirms the order to the client; updating the forecast by the end of each month; update the status of project regularly. Prepare cost estimate report. Provide all relevant or requested reports to Territory Director and sales manager. Submit the daily, weekly and monthly reports to Territory Director and sales manager. Ensure all the related communications associated with the new inquires is communicated to the Territory Director/ Higher Management. Ensure that all the tender documents are properly read and understood for the client requirements or the scope of service. Competency Requirements B. Tech (Mech, O&G), M. Tech (O&G) etc. MS office knowledge is must Further qualifications or extended course experience in commercial activities Language skills, particularly English, any other languages may be advantageous. Good communication and presentation skills. Good computer skills. Solid technical knowledge of ILI products and applicable industry standards Experience within the Oil and Gas sector (preferably) or service project-based companies. Minimum of 1year experience in commercial and technical tender preparations in Oil & Gas sector. Good Selling Capability. Knowledge of commercial aspects of organization
