Associate 2, Record to Report

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To execute responsibilities related to Record to Report process for simple/medium complexity countries assigned to the role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform mass upload
  • Perform Manual posting
  • Reverse accruals
  • Perform asset accounting
  • Book lease journals
  • Prepare, publish and monitor month end closing calendar
  • Perform period closing tasks
  • Prepare period cost accruals, amortization and reclasses
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement
  • Prepare asset subledger to general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare other BS Reconciliations
  • Prepare FI-CO Reconciliation
  • Perform open item clearing in balance sheet ledgers
  • Perform internal control checks
  • Publish SLA compliance
  • Publish process KPIs
  • Prepare hard close and year end audit schedules
  • Publish reporting packs
  • Adhere to set Standard Operating Procedures in the execution of activities
  • Adhere to set internal controls in the execution of activities
  • Actively contribute towards Root Cause Analysis on all critical issues / errors reported, track and the closure of corrective and preventive actions
  • Actively contribute in standardization of the Record To Report processes in the country/countries
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and timely information to the units
  • Build and maintain healthy rapport and trust with all upstream and downstream stakeholders to the process in the countries

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION
Graduate in Accounting / Finance

Language:
English (mandatory)

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Team playing skills
  • Ability to adhere to set guidelines

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
Mandatory

  • Understanding of accounting
  • Basic skills in accounting tools
Desirable

  • Exposure to ERPs
