About myNachiketa:


myNachiketa Foundation is inspired by Nachiketa, a character in the Upanishads, who asks philosophical questions to Yama in his childhood.


myNachiketa aims to create a D2C brand focused on introducing the teachings of Gita & Upanishads to children.

Children might find concepts of Hindu Philosophy more accessible through stories, metaphors, and demonstrations.

The team is developing innovative products such as videos, courses, books, games, workshops, etc., and distributing them widely through various channels.

The approach is to encourage children to question and explore different paths to find answers, rather than following a strict thought process.

The objective is to expand rapidly in the market, reaching every child in India aged 0-14, and eventually targeting a global audience of children.

The team believes they have a unique opportunity as there are no major brands focusing on Hinduism for kids currently.


The team is supported by experienced professionals who have previously built a 100 million dollar company and possess significant expertise in product development, market fit, and go-to-market strategies.

About the role:
Lead - International Business


As the Lead - International Business, you will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team and play a critical role in expanding myNachiketa globally.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing product and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility in countries like the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, Southeast Asia, etc.

This entails optimizing the website, utilizing growth hacking techniques, generating leads, and fostering new business partnerships with institutions such as schools, clubs, and associations in the specified overseas markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the establishment and growth of myNachiketa's presence in key international markets, collaborating with founders on strategy & planning and developing business plans
  • Create and execute product strategies, tailored marketing plans for each target market, driving brand recognition and engagement through diverse channels.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with Indian schools abroad, clubs, associations, and other relevant organizations to expand the customer base and boost revenue
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their requirements, preferences, and challenges, collecting feedback on products and services for continuous enhancement
  • Take charge of the revenue generation for the international business segment, analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing strategies for maximum profitability
  • Manage the logistics of international operations, ensuring efficient warehousing and distribution for meeting customer demands and optimizing inventory management
What we are looking for:

  • Recent MBA or equivalent qualification from renowned B-schools
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans. Experience in formulating and executing business strategies in a dynamic environment is desirable.
  • Previous involvement in product/marketing/sales within a startup setting is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in networking and establishing relationships with potential customers and stakeholders
  • High motivation and capability to work autonomously
