Corporate Communications & External Affairs

We are looking for a dynamic Communications Manager with a solid background in public relations, either from a large corporate environment or an agency catering to major corporations. The ideal candidate will be tasked with overseeing daily public relations and corporate communications operations, collaborating with brand managers, internal and external teams, as well as agencies. They should have outstanding writing skills, strong media connections, and a creative mindset to guide our communications strategy.

Your responsibilities

  • PR and Communications Management: Supervise daily public relations activities and corporate communications to ensure they align with Reckitt's strategic objectives.
  • Content Creation: Produce compelling content for press releases, media kits, executive speeches, and other communication materials.
  • Crisis Management: Manage communications during crises, ensuring prompt and accurate information dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Campaign Management: Strategize and execute PR campaigns to bolster product launches, brand initiatives, and corporate events.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and deliver regular reports on PR activities, media sentiment, and campaign effectiveness.

The experience we seek

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in public relations, with a proven history of handling communications for major corporations or agencies catering to such firms.
  • Skills: Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, robust media relations, and a creative approach to problem-solving and campaign planning.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a relevant field.
