Role Overview
The Treasury Services DDO team focuses on establishing and embracing a strategic framework for data management to leverage data as a valuable asset for the business. The team facilitates the implementation of protocols and standards that govern and oversee data management and usage, offers insights through data quality monitoring and issue resolution to oversee data across the organization, and administers various projects to advance the business' objectives.
Data Modeling and MI represent core competencies of the TSDO team crucial for supporting an efficient data strategy. This position plays a pivotal role in translating business requirements into the necessary information to deliver solutions. Collaborating with Data Architects, the role involves comprehending architectural strategies, collecting and evaluating business needs, and designing appropriate data structures and MI. Additionally, this role wields significant influence in Treasury Services through Service initiatives. The incumbent will contribute significantly to the shift from conventional reporting to a more dynamic, real-time analytics environment, establishing a foundation for delivering information to internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.

What You'll Do:
  • Monitor Jira tickets daily for implementation support and development actions
  • Ensure daily refresh schedules to guarantee dashboard readiness for user review
  • Comprehend data flow models and various systems for data sourcing
  • Develop innovative reporting capabilities for conducting sophisticated historical or predictive analyses supporting end-to-end Treasury Services processes
  • Lead the technical approach and delivery of complex financial analytics and reporting
  • Recognize Treasury strategy requirements, collaborating with clients and/or functional leaders to meet those needs
  • Enhance the control environment through technological capabilities
  • Introduce and execute process enhancements to boost team efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring high service delivery standards
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members as necessary; may lead projects and analyses
  • Assist in conducting root cause analysis for data quality discrepancies, investigating and evaluating the extent and complexity of issues and outlining necessary remedial actions
  • Determine the business impact level of data quality issues
  • Quantify the materiality for appropriate escalations
  • Aid in customizing and enhancing dashboards based on stakeholder requests
  • Proficient in leading data profiling tools like Alteryx, Pentaho, SQL, BI tools, etc.
  • Offer insights, actively host, and participate in user forums for expedited issue resolutions and developments
  • Foster relationships with staff or contractors in Technology, Data Strategy, and Data Operations to ensure efficient data identification, collection, utilization, and management of related processes

Requirements for Success:
Bachelor's Degree in a financial/Engineering discipline such as accounting, finance, statistics, or related fields like math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics is preferred.
Skills & Experience:
  • 4+ years of total work experience is preferred
  • Self-starter who can drive change independently with minimal direction
  • Proficiency in finance data sets and processes including Balance Sheet, P&L, Consolidations, Client Product Profitability, liquidity analytics, and reporting
  • Excellentmunication skills - adept at both written and verbalmunications
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Confident and composed under pressure, adept at handling challenging situations
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Dynamics), Tableau, Alteryx, Pentaho, SQL
  • Experience with leading reporting tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx, OLAP tools
  • Familiarity with data structuring/hydration techniques is advantageous
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture, and/or Data Warehousing; ideally in a shared or enterprise data environment
