**Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
  • Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
  • Liaise with the technical team(s) to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
  • Yield Curve management and validation, curve calibration, new curve creation and configuration.
  • Products (FX and IRD) management and validation
  • Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along
  • Manage daytoday assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
  • Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
  • Continuous followup of new Market regulations/practices globally
  • Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Financial engineering.
  • Excellent understanding of IRD, FX business and product knowledge in FX, IRD and EQD
  • Very Strong understanding of the P&L and ability to perform risk based P&L explain and decompose it into its components.
  • Very Strong understanding and handson experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
  • Very Strong experience in supporting senior FO users and resolving their daily issues
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stresstests, backtesting)
  • Familiarity with essential quantitative techniques used in financial and econometric models.

Must:

  • 5+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module
  • Experience in financial markets and investment banking
  • Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills
  • Be detailedoriented, a quick learner, and a selfstarter
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organization skills
  • Professional certification in Finance: FRM, CQF or CFA.
  • Professional experience with investment banking in front office risk and P&L domain.
