What does an BA do at Fiserv?


As an experienced member of our Core banking Professional Services Group, you will own & lead Business/requirement analysis, functional designing & QA of our Professional services projects.


What You Will Do:

  • You will be responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, functional designing & QA for retail banking solutions.
  • Works to understand the overall business need, create a business case and then define the technical requirements.
  • As a QA, writing of manual functional test cases & execute them, must ensure quality gates and overall good quality of deliverables. Adhere and implement internal quality processes.
  • Solve technology information systems problems by analyzing business/client requirements; analyzing existing systems; pseudodesigning computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols.
  • Often acts as the interface or ""translator"" between the business and technology functions of a company.
  • Uses planning, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, organizational analysis, interface analysis, writing skills and user experience (knowing how a user interface applies to success).
  • Quickly understand the product and work towards improving the domain/product knowledge of the team.
  • Resolve the functional queries of the team
  • Will work closely with Dev Team, Tech Pub team, Senior Architects and onshore counterpart, clients and other stakeholders throughout the life cycle.

What You Will Need to Have:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst & QA in IT.
  • Should have strong domain knowledge in the Retail banking. Digital banking experience is an added advantage.
  • Hands on functional QA testing.
  • Should have very good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Software development is plus.
  • Experience in working in a Retail Bank is mandatory.
  • Experience in dealings and collaboration with client.

  • Prior Signature Core Banking Experience is a plus
