We are looking for a proactive and talented Alumni Success & Engagement Associate to oversee our alumni relations efforts. The perfect candidate will have outstanding communication and organizational abilities to create and implement exciting programs and activities that reinforce connections with our graduates.

Relationship Building & Engagement:

  • Establish and carry out a thorough alumni relations program to engage with graduates from different backgrounds and years of completion.
  • Utilize effective communication channels (such as email, social media, and alumni newsletter) to keep alumni engaged and informed.
  • Arrange alumni events (like reunions, webinars, and networking gatherings) to reinforce connections and foster a lively alumni community.
  • Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and provide on-site assistance during events.
  • Organize Alumni Talk sessions and invite alumni speakers to share their professional insights, industry knowledge, and experiences to prepare students for the workforce.
  • Create engaging content for alumni communications, including newsletters, emails, and social media posts.
  • Highlight alumni accomplishments and success stories to boost the organization's reputation.

Alumni Pipeline & Onboarding:

  • Ensure prompt addition of student graduation/placement details to the Alumni Database, including contact information and career updates.
  • Establish a "Healthy Check" initiative to engage with recent graduates quarterly in their first year and biannually thereafter.
  • Analyze collected data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the institute's curriculum or career services.

Talent Acquisition & Referrals:

  • Identify alumni working in relevant sectors who can offer valuable referrals for potential student placements.
  • Create a program to encourage alumni to refer qualified candidates from their current or past workplaces through incentives like referral rewards, networking events, or recognition schemes.
  • Utilize the alumni network to access new hiring pools.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain an accurate alumni database containing professional details such as job roles, companies, and salary ranges (with consent) to monitor advancements, salary hikes, awards, and recognitions.
  • Develop a system to monitor alumni career progress year over year.
  • Analyze alumni career data to spot trends in job positions, salary growth, and shifts in industries.
  • Produce reports showcasing the institute's impact on alumni success to guide decisions regarding curriculum enhancement and career services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and nurture relationships with diverse groups.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with alumni databases or CRM systems are preferred.
