Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategies and objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, background checks, and reference checks.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries, fostering a positive and responsive HR presence.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance review process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Identify and address training and development needs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Maintain HR records and prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends.
  • Use data to identify areas for improvement and to support strategic Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a retail or automotive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
