Role Description

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones using tools like MS Project. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Oversee all on-site and off-site construction activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment)
  • Prepare and manage project budgets. Track project costs, identify potential overruns, and implement cost-saving measures. Manage procurement and subcontracting processes
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and safety-first culture on site.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Provide regular, clear, and concise project updates.
  • Implement and enforce strict quality control and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
  • Proactively identify potential project risks (e.g., logistical, technical, regulatory) and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Review engineering designs (e.g., PV layouts, SLDs) and technical documentation. Ensure all work conforms to technical specifications and industry best practices
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, financial statements, and handover documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing ground-mounted utility-scale or large C&I solar PV projects for an EPC company
  • Strong knowledge of solar project lifecycle, from design to commissioning
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project
  • Familiarity with solar design software like PVsyst and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Telangana
  • Experience in the solar energy industry is a must
  • PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage
