Job TitleSales Officer – Mother & Child Care DivisionLocationAhmedabad, Gujarat (may include travel throughout assigned territories)Reporting ToRegional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Head of Sales – Mother & Child Care Division (as applicable)Job PurposeTo drive sales for the Mother & Child Care product line under the Luvalp brand in the assigned territory, achieving sales targets, enhancing market penetration, building strong relationships with trade partners, and ensuring brand visibility.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctionTasks & DeliverablesSales & Target Achievement - Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for Mother & Child Care products. - Monitor sales trends and adjust initiatives to meet goals. - Forecast demand and liaise with supply chain / inventory teams.Market Coverage & Distribution - Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with retailers, pharmacies, baby specialty stores, maternity shops, and other relevant trade outlets. - Ensure adequate product availability in assigned areas (traditional & modern trade). - Increase penetration in under-served areas.Brand & Product Visibility - Execute in-store promotions, product displays, demos if applicable. - Ensure compliance to brand standards in shelf display, placement, packaging visibility. - Provide feedback from trade and customers to the marketing team.Customer Relationships & Support - Build long-term trust with customers, provide product information and respond to queries or complaints. - Train outlet staff / sales agents on product features, usage, benefits (especially for mother & child care products).Competitor Monitoring & Market Intelligence - Keep track of competitor products, pricing, offers, promotions in the territory. - Report on market trends, consumer preferences especially relevant to maternity, newborn, infants categories.Sales Planning & Reporting - Prepare daily / weekly / monthly call plans and sales reports. - Conduct field visits, meetings with trade partners. - Maintain accurate records of orders, collections, outstanding debts.Team Coordination & Development (if applicable) - Coordinate with internal teams - marketing, supply chain, finance. - Mentor and guide junior sales staff or promoter teams if assigned.
