We are looking for a dynamic, experienced go-getter sales professional for the position of Sales Head – Lithium-Ion Battery Chargers, who can drive continuous sales growth for our Lithium-Ion Battery Chargers within the renewable energy, battery, and solar sectors. The incumbent should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in sales leadership and an overall sales experience of 8+ Years with good knowledge and understanding of energy storage systems, lithium-ion technologies, and sales dynamics of batteries and chargers in the solar industry.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility in developing winning sales strategies and executing them through a strong sales team successfully, building customer relationships, and expanding our market reach and market share for our cutting-edge battery charging solutions.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Lithium-ion battery chargers, focusing on increasing market share and revenue within the renewable energy, battery storage, and solar sectors.
- Identify and target key market segments (residential, commercial, industrial) and regions to drive sales, leveraging market trends and customer insights.
- Work with the Marketing and Product Development teams to refine and align product offerings with market needs and customer demands.
- Remain updated with the market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to develop competitive pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales Team for lithium battery chargers, and continuously improve revenue generation across various regions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for the sales team, regularly tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet and exceed goals.
- Build a culture of high performance and growth by providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the sales team.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Curate long-term client relationships with key customers, including OEMs, EPC contractors, system integrators, and distributors in the energy storage and solar markets.
- Engage with large commercial and industrial clients to offer customized solutions that meet their specific energy storage and charging needs.
- Address customer inquiries, provide technical consultations, and offer solutions to complex charging requirements, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations & Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and revenue projections for lithium battery chargers.
- Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline development, and key performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Track sales progress against targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions when needed.
Market Expansion & Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for Lithium Battery Chargers and Lithium-ion batteries, focusing on emerging trends in energy storage, electric vehicles (EV), and renewable energy integration.
- Lead efforts to expand the brand's presence in both established and new markets, including through strategic partnerships, resellers, and channel distributors.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to promote lithium battery chargers, network with potential partners, and gather market intelligence.
Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
- Develop a deep understanding of the technical features, benefits, and applications of lithium battery chargers, staying up-to-date with the latest product developments and industry innovations.
- Provide support to the sales team and customers by addressing technical questions, preparing product demonstrations, and facilitating training sessions on lithium battery charger products.
- Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to offer feedback on customer requirements and assist in the development of new products or product improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product management, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives and customer delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with after-sales service and technical support teams to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Align sales efforts with the company's broader goals, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all channels.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role in the energy storage, battery, inverter, or renewable energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of lithium battery charging technologies, energy storage systems, and applications in the solar and renewable energy markets.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, building high-performing teams, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and motivating sales teams to achieve and surpass goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (internal teams, customers, distributors, partners).
- Solid understanding of battery technologies (specifically lithium-ion), energy storage systems, and their integration with solar and other renewable energy solutions.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze market data, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA in Marketing will be of added advantage.
