About Us:
Phonon is a leader in customer engagement automation, working with marquee brands in BFSI, Travel & Aviation, and Industry 4.0. As we expand into Defence and Embedded Engineering, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to drive strategic marketing initiatives, brand positioning, and lead generation.
Your Role:
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for shaping our brand presence, generating high-quality leads, and positioning Phonon as a thought leader. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to craft compelling marketing campaigns that drive business growth. You will also support pre-sales and solutioning efforts to help sales teams close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Execution – Develop and execute marketing plans that align with business goals.
- Lead Generation & Demand Generation – Implement performance-driven marketing campaigns, digital marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and ABM strategies.
- Brand Building & Positioning – Elevate Phonon's presence in BFSI, Aviation, and Industry 4.0 markets.
- Content & Thought Leadership – Develop engaging content, case studies, and whitepapers to showcase Phonon's expertise.
- Event Marketing & Partnerships – Represent Phonon at industry events, webinars, and conferences to drive engagement.
- Product Marketing – Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to craft compelling messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Marketing Analytics & ROI Tracking – Measure, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Presentation Design – Create compelling and visually engaging Google Slide presentations for pitches and internal strategy meetings.
- Quantitative & Pricing Analysis – Strong ability to analyze data for pricing strategies, revenue optimization, and financial modeling.
- Advanced Google Sheets User – Expert in Google Sheets with scripting and automation capabilities to optimize workflows.
- Channel Partner Management – Develop and manage relationships with channel partners, resellers, and strategic alliances to expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
- Pre-Sales & Solution Support – Assist the sales team in crafting proposals, solution documents, and presentations to help close deals. Provide domain expertise and consultative input during the sales cycle.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- MQL Leads Generated – Track marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) by product category on a monthly basis.
- Thought Leadership Content – Number of articles, how-to videos, case studies, and whitepapers created per quarter.
- Brand Positioning on B2B Sites – Growth in ratings and reviews across platforms like Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, and Gartner Peer Insights.
- SEO & Website Traffic Growth – Increase in organic website traffic and improved search rankings.
- Marketing-Influenced Revenue – Contribution of marketing activities to the sales pipeline and revenue growth.
- Channel Partner Success – Revenue generated through partnerships and reseller channels.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 10+ years in B2B marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, content strategy, lead generation, and product positioning.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in SaaS, BFSI, Aviation, or IoT will be a strong plus.
- Hands-on Expertise: Proficiency in SEO, SEM, Ads, Google Ads, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong Storytelling & Communication: Ability to craft compelling narratives and value propositions.
- Numbers-Driven & High Performance: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Technical & Business Acumen: Preferably an engineer with an MBA, bringing a strategic mindset and execution capabilities.
- Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support: Ability to work with sales teams to create compelling solution proposals and presentations.
