International Mobility Manager/Lead: Summary of RoleThis role is centered on managing the entire Employee Mobility program for international assignees (Expats) and short-term travelers. It involves deep expertise in immigration, compliance, policy administration, vendor management, and employee support, particularly for a global or multinational organization. Key Responsibilities OverviewProgram Management: Lead and manage the overall Employee Mobility program for Expats and Short Term Travelers, including maintaining HR records for these populations.Compliance & Risk: Ensure strict compliance with all statutory, regulatory, immigration (visa), and individual tax requirements in various jurisdictions.Policy & Strategy: Research, benchmark, and develop/implement HR strategies, policies, programs, and procedures specifically related to International Assignments and Company Leased Accommodation.Advisory & Support: Counsel and advise staff (Expats) on eligibility, entitlements, visa application processes, and policy interpretations. Also advise departmental managers.Administration: Manage specific programs like language training and health/safety for the Expat population.Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with consulates (directly or through consultants) and manage mobility vendors.
