About the role...
Our Supply Chain Analytics & Inventory Optimization solutions are at the forefront of helping global organizations build intelligent, resilient, and agile supply chains. We are helping them move from reactive, siloed planning in spreadsheets to a collaborative, predictive, and prescriptive platform for aligning inventory strategy and supply chain execution with changing market needs.
As a Product Manager, you will be required to dream big, design the product vision and roadmap, manage stakeholder requirements, and define the features that drive value. You will prioritize the feature backlog and work closely with development, data science, and business integration teams to bring your vision to life. You will be responsible for the success of the product.
You will be responsible for integrating advanced segmentation, inventory optimization, and other analytics models into the core product to solve business problems. You will ensure the underlying code is scalable, performant, and adheres to the best practices. A deep understanding of supply chain business processes is critical to identify areas of improvement, collect and analyze data, and guide the development of models in Python/PySpark.
What you'll do for us...
- Work for a product team to deliver world-class Inventory Optimization, Segmentation, Root Cause Analysis and other supply chain analytics products
- Drive product requirements and design discussions with consulting, pre sales and customers
- Understand and use o9's proprietary software platform (table structure, Ui build, etc) along with standard technologies such as Python, Pyspark, Hive/Hadoop, Delta Lake to design robust and scalable solutions.
- Adhere to agile processes and timelines to fulfill requirements and fix bugs, while documenting issues and tracking progress.
- Design, develop and document technical & functional solutions - data models, scripts, workflows, UIs
- Work with the UX team to create a pleasant user experience
- Help the sales and pre-sales teams to support RFPs, RFQs, ongoing implementations and customer demos (preparation/delivery)
- Drive the continuous evolution of our Supply Chain Analytics & Inventory Optimization product suite by incorporating solutions and learnings from customer implementations back into the core product.
What you will bring...
- Experience: 2-4 years in Product Management, Product Implementation, or Business Analysis
- Education: Full-Time Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or Master's in Business Administration from reputed/tier 1 college
- Proven experience to take complete ownership of end-to-end design & delivery of solutions
- Must have experience in requirements gathering, design of software models, techniques/methodologies for developing performant and high-quality enterprise software systems – ideally already in supply chain planning.
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
- Have good analytical / problem solving skills
- Hands-on in software technologies – databases, scripting experience in R/Python/Pyspark, SQL, big data, Delta Lake is preferred
- Experience in implementing Supply Chain Management/ planning applications, ERP, CRM business analytics, or related fields will be a plus.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills, with proven ability to take initiatives
- Hands on/familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Access and PowerPoint.
