Responsibilities
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income.
- Identify potential tenants and negotiate lease agreements renewals and expansions.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants , retail chains and brokers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retail sector developments to guide leasing decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations team to plan tenant mix, promotional events and mall positioning
- Review and approve lease terms, conditions and legal documentation in coordination with the legal team.
- Manage tenant onboarding , space handovers and ensure adherence to lease compliance
- Prepare regular reports on leasing performance, market insights and forecast revenue
- Lead and mentor the leasing team to achieve set targets and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- MBA with minimum of 6 years experience in leasing.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in lease negotiation , tenant management and portfolio growth
- Strong understanding of retail market dynamics and tenant mix optimisation
- Excellent negotiation ,communication and stake holder management skills.
- Ability to analyse market data and prepare detailed reports.
- Leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Experience in working with national and international retail brands.
- Knowledge of lease laws and compliance requirements in the region.
