The role will lead student recruitment, institutional collaborations, research partnerships, and alumni relations while representing the university with senior stakeholders across the education, government, and corporate sectors.The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, relationship management, and market development experience in international higher education. This position requires close coordination with the university’s on-campus teams, proactive stakeholder engagement, and flexibility to travel frequently within India and occasionally overseas. A self-motivated and organized professional, the Assistant Recruitment Adviser will play a key role in strengthening the university’s regional presence and advancing its global strategic priorities.Role Summary :Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Recruitment Adviser, you will implement marketing plans to engage/interest high quality Indian students. Specifically, you will:Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders in India such as education agents, prospective students and partnersCollaborate with internal university stakeholdersEnhance student attraction, conversion and retentionExpand, extend and enhance applicant experience and success initiativesProvide support to Implement the University’s plan for the enhancement and growth of international institutional engagements in the designated regionSupport the team in Follow up on matters like offer acceptance, additional document requirements and other admission related matters via telephone, email, and face to face interactions.Maintain excellent ‘customer service’ by answering all enquiries from prospectivestudents and parents. Call the students met during the education fairs and focus on building the application database.Support in preview and evaluation of existing activities, contributing to delivery of a mutually beneficial strategy, design and implementation of improved and new strategy and approaches, to meet changes in market and/or the University’s business requirementsAbility to rapidly gain a strong understanding of stakeholders (students, alumni, academic and administrative units) and how this relates to the University’s corporate strategy and objectives, student engagement, student success programmes, and their impact on the wider University, in order to drive effective relationshipsSupport the development of strong constructive networks and relationships with internal and external partners, including strong lines of communication and engagementRepresent the University at meetings with relevant organisations to achieve desirable outcomesProvide high quality standards of service and partnership with all stakeholders across the University’s faculty and divisions, including prospective and continuing international students, alumni, fellow staff members and external representativesMaintain updated knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and political frameworksAssist in preparation and submission of reports and review collated statistics to inform planning, as requested by university staffSupport the university’s social media engagement. Manage social media interactions and contribute to the content posted across various platforms used by the India teamManage participation in exhibitions and promotional events, including arrangement of the transport of exhibition materials/freightMaintaining and updating CRM with the student details and with regular follow ups for leads conversionAny other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the positionQualifications and Experience:Educated to degree level or equivalent.Relevant postgraduate or professional qualification.A degree or professional qualification from an Australian university is desirableSkills and Competencies:Experience of working in international higher education or similar environment for at least 1-3 yearsExperience of the higher education sector in Australia, preferably including study abroad, through work or studyExperience of counselling students and parentsExperience of developing collaborative agreementKnowledge and understanding of the education system and understanding of the range of issues relevant to students contemplating study in Australia.Sound knowledge of processes and procedures underpinning successful international student interest, such as enquiry management, admissions, immigration issuesAbility to communicate confidently and clearly to a wide range of audiences via a variety of mediaStrong understanding of the Australian higher education landscape, NEP 2020, and regional policy frameworks.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across global time zones.IT literacy and adequately conversant with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of the Indian Higher Education system.Attributes:Collaborative working style to motivate teams.Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship management skills.Self-motivated; able to manage high workloads, meet deadlines, and resolve work issues.Excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detailUnderstanding of student visa regulations.Creative and innovative approach to strategic thinking and problem solvingExcellent organisational skills including ability to manage heavy workload, prioritize competing demands and work to deadlineFlexible, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team.Willingness to work outside office hours and travel as required.If you are eager to lead and drive the university’s strategic partnerships, student recruitment, and regional engagement across India while managing operations and stakeholder relationships then this opportunity is for you.Website Address: www.Acumen.EducationSocial Media: https://www.Linkedin.Com/company/acumen-edu/
