About the Role:

- We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead - Finance to manage and oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance activities.

- This position requires a strong analytical mindset, leadership capability, and the ability to drive financial planning and control initiatives.

- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the preparation of Annual Budgets, Financial Forecasts, and Periodic MIS Reports.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasted figures.

- Conduct cost analysis, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.

- Provide financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making.

Accounting & Compliance:

- Supervise day-to-day Accounting Operations including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, Taxation, and General Ledger.

- Ensure compliance with Statutory Laws and Regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings).

- Review and approve financial statements, tax returns, and financial audits.

- Liaison with Auditors, Tax Consultants, Banks, and Regulatory Authorities.

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures.

Team Management & Process Improvement:

- Lead, guide, and mentor the Finance & Accounts Team.

- Implement and maintain financial controls, processes, and policies.

- Identify areas for cost optimization, financial efficiency, and process automation.

- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and internal controls.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and fund flow.

- Ensure effective management of banking relationships, fund requirements, and investments.

- Monitor receivables/payables and ensure timely collections and vendor payments.

Technical & Functional Skills Required:

Core Skills:

- Solid understanding of Finance & Accounting Principles, Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS).

- Strong knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

- Proficiency in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.

- Experience in Financial Reporting, MIS, and Variance Analysis.

- Hands-on experience in SAP, Oracle, Tally, or any ERP systems.

- Strong skills in MS Excel, Power BI, and Financial Modelling.

Preferred Skills:

- Working knowledge of International Finance & Taxation is an advantage.

- Experience in Financial Due Diligence, Internal Audits, and Risk Management.

- Exposure to Corporate Finance, Investment Management, and Fundraising Activities.

- Good understanding of SEZ, STPI, and Export Compliance Norms (optional).

Educational Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with a strong academic record.

- Additional certifications like CPA, CFA, or IFRS will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounts, and Compliance functions.

- Prior experience in Manufacturing / IT / Engineering / Product-based industries preferred.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-handling skills.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities
