Job Overview

Gamut HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Store Manager to join our client in the apparel industry. This is a senior-level, full-time position based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will bring 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in managing retail apparel stores, ensuring smooth operations, maximizing sales, and driving superior customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Visual Merchandising (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated proficiency in creating appealing store displays to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Sales Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Retail Operations (Mandatory skill): Extensive knowledge of retail operations, ensuring effective day-to-day store functionality.
  • Inventory Management: Strong capability to monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure superior customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of apparel products to assist customers and train staff effectively.
  • Budgeting: Experience in preparing and managing store budgets to maximize profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and improve revenue.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation through effective visual merchandising strategies.
  • Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock deliveries, and conduct regular audits to prevent loss.
