Our client is in search of a motivated and experienced Store Manager/Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their store at Omaha Beach. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a dynamic team, and contributing to the store's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase products, negotiate deals with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team to achieve store goals.
- Manage stock levels, orders, and stocktakes efficiently.
- Strategically plan for business growth and development.
- Oversee daily cash reconciliations, petty cash management, and banking processes.
- Execute and manage store merchandising to attract customers.
- Enforce company policies and procedures among staff.
- Maintain security controls for cash, keys, alarms, and stock.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure the store is well-presented and encourage repeat business.
- Manage liquor licensing requirements and adhere to regulations.
Requirements Requirements:
- Female candidates only.
- Previous experience in food retail is essential.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Solid basic math skills.
- Proven customer service expertise.
- Experience in checkout operations.
