Role Description
1. Workforce Management
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for both factory (blue collar) and office staff (white collar).
- Maintain updated employee records, attendance, and leave management.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of staff and workmen.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of ESI, PF, and other statutory compliances.
- Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and consultants for inspections and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation and statutory registers as per labor laws.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address grievances of blue-collar workers and support white-collar employees in HR matters.
- Promote a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives, welfare measures, and health & safety programs.
4. HR Operations
- Support payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and statutory inputs.
- Issue letters, contracts, and other employee documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing company (must have handled blue & white collars).
- Strong knowledge of ESI, PF, labor laws, and statutory compliances.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to handle workforce issues tactfully.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRMS/ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
