"we are looking for a Test Manager supporting the further development of our leading-edge Trading System T7 offering order and quote management, on- and off-book trading services in simple and complex instruments.You will shape a motivated team, working in an international environment, driven to keep up the highest levels of service quality while constantly allowing for integration of functional and technical improvements in a fast-changing domain.Functional System Test verifies that the Trading System T7 meets the specified functional requirements for both new and existing functionality. Your effective collaboration with the specification, build and acceptance teams working in our distributed environment is crucial and relies on clear communication, trust, and usage of digital tools.Functional System Test provides essential feedback for decision taking for installing software fixes, enhancements, changes, or new releases of the Trading System Software in the higher test environments, Acceptance and Simulation, and to Production.Tasks / Responsibilities:Manage, develop and strengthen the trading functional system test teamPlan and coordinate functional system testing of the Deutsche Börse Group Trading System T7, with timely and high impact feedbackClosely align with the functional, build and acceptance teams for a streamlined efficient delivery processOrganize software testing for your area of expertise with focus on responsibilities, contents, and scheduleCreate and update test models and scripts for test automationConstantly enhance (automated) smoke test and regression test portfolios to ensure high functional coverageEnsure that the software deliveries fulfil the defined quality requirements for the installation in higher test environments and in ProductionDrive the continuous improvement of software testing activities / processes and test reportingQualifications / Required skills:University degree in business studies or in engineering or comparable qualificationStrong expertise in functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems is essentialReady to take responsibility for a team and continuously develop it, with a target oriented, can-do and problem-solving attitudeDeep knowledge of test methodology, management, planning and execution. A professional tester certification, e.G., ISTQB is a benefitDeep experience in iterative and agile development methods with dedicated expertise for testing of software from a functional perspectiveDeep experience with creating, executing and analysing automated functional testsSolid user experience in Linux operating system, GitHub, Jira and continuous integrationExpertise in scripting for test and test automation; scripting in python preferredInter-personal skills are essential to successfully fill this position:Highly self-motivated and self-directedStrong communication and analytical skillsAbility to organize work and drive results in our international teamProficiency in written and spoken English
