Tech / BE / Diploma – Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / InstrumentationExperience: 4 – 8 Years (Preferably in Solar Cell Manufacturing / Semiconductor / Electronics Industry)Additional Certification:Training in TPM / Lean Manufacturing / Six SigmaKnowledge of ISO and EHS systemsKey Skills:In-depth knowledge of solar cell line equipment and maintenance practices.Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools.Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdowns efficiently.Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Maintenance & ReliabilityResponsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of cell production equipment (diffusion, PECVD, screen printing, firing, texturing, etc.).Monitor equipment uptime, performance, and yield impact.Troubleshoot process and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.Coordinate with production and process teams to ensure smooth line operation.2. Preventive & Predictive MaintenancePrepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM guidelines.Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures and implement corrective actions.Maintain records of equipment health and spares utilization.3. Spares & Inventory ManagementIdentify critical spares and ensure availability without overstocking.Coordinate with utility and stores departments for spare procurement and stock control.4. Continuous ImprovementParticipate in Kaizen, TPM, and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency.Support modification and upgradation projects for process optimization.Recommend design changes for reliability improvement and cost reduction.5. Documentation & ComplianceMaintain proper documentation of breakdown analysis, maintenance checklists, and calibration records.Ensure safety compliance during maintenance and adhere to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards.6. Team CollaborationGuide and mentor junior engineers and technicians in shift operations.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality targets.Support audits and provide necessary technical inputs to management.
