Tech / BE / Diploma – Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Instrumentation Experience: 4 – 8 Years (Preferably in Solar Cell Manufacturing / Semiconductor / Electronics Industry) Training in TPM / Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma In-depth knowledge of solar cell line equipment and maintenance practices. Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office tools. Ability to work in shifts and handle breakdowns efficiently. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of cell production equipment (diffusion, PECVD, screen printing, firing, texturing, etc.). Monitor equipment uptime, performance, and yield impact. Coordinate with production and process teams to ensure smooth line operation. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM guidelines. Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures and implement corrective actions. Spares & Inventory Management Participate in Kaizen, TPM, and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency. Support modification and upgradation projects for process optimization. Maintain proper documentation of breakdown analysis, maintenance checklists, and calibration records. Ensure safety compliance during maintenance and adhere to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 standards. Guide and mentor junior engineers and technicians in shift operations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality targets.
