Roles and Responsibilities

Area Credit will lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for end-to-end credit underwriting and disbursal of mortgage and retail loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications based on product and policy norms, from initial evaluation to final disbursal.
  • Appraise loan applications for credit worthiness, ensuring adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) norms, credit bureau assessments, and financial evaluations.
  • Oversee the disbursal of Mortgage Loans, including all necessary checks and verifications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, legal teams, technical experts, and processing vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Train vendors and their staff on processes and policies to maintain high standards.
  • Engage in in-person meetings and discussions with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain efficient processing timelines and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Participate in and clear regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Effectively manage vendors, monitoring quality and performance to drive continuous improvement.
