Join us and together we will build the future greener and more sustainable.Role: Senior Process EngineerEducation:  M.E./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical EngineeringExperience: 9+ yearsLocation: Delhi NCRResponsibilities:Develop, review, and optimise PFDs and P&IDs for the chemical industry and new plant installations.Prepare detailed mass balances, water balances, and energy balances for process systems and equipment design.Work in close coordination with the Senior Design Engineer and General Manager – Design & Engineering to finalise process layouts, system configurations, and integration with existing facilities.Evaluate and select process equipment to ensure compatibility with design and operational parameters.Support commissioning, start-up, and performance validation of new or modified process units.Analyse process data to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, yield, and energy consumption.Ensure compliance of all process designs with applicable environmental, safety, and regulatory standards related to battery recycling.Provide technical support for the preparation of process documentation, specifications, and operating procedures.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and control engineering, during design and execution phases.Participate in HAZOP reviews, risk assessments, and design audits to ensure safe and reliable operation of process systems.Requirements:9+ years of experience in process engineering, design, and commissioning within:Battery recycling or metal refining industries, orChemical, metallurgical, or hydrometallurgical process plants.Strong knowledge of process simulation, material and energy balances, and reactor/system design.Proficiency in PFD and P&ID preparation, review, and verification.Familiarity with process modelling and design software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, AutoCAD, or equivalent).Good understanding of environmental and safety regulations applicable to recycling and metallurgical processes.Experience in equipment sizing, heat and mass transfer calculations, and utility integration.·      Familiarity with QA/QC systems and regulatory reporting.Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Why Join Us?ACE is a young and fast-growing organisation that is a perfect fit for ambitious people looking for an exciting job at an organisation where business and sustainability go together.
