Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and creative PR Executive to support Sunstone’scommunications and media initiatives. The role involves coordinating with media houses,drafting press material, tracking coverage, and ensuring Sunstone maintains a consistentand credible voice in the education ecosystem.You’ll work closely with the PR Manager, marketing team, and external agencies to buildawareness, amplify campaigns, and strengthen Sunstone’s brand reputation.Key Responsibilities1. Media Coordination• Maintain and update media contact lists across national, regional, and education-focusedpublications.• Coordinate with journalists, editors, and influencers for coverage opportunities and storyplacements.• Support the planning and execution of press events, briefings, and interviews.2. Press Content & Communication• Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and spokesperson quotes.• Assist in developing story ideas and pitching them to relevant media outlets.• Support leadership in preparing talking points, Q&As, and event communication material.3. Monitoring & Reporting• Track and compile daily/weekly media coverage reports.• Analyze coverage quality, tone, and share of voice.• Maintain a central repository of published articles and PR outcomes.4. Campaign & Event Support• Support PR amplification for Sunstone’s key campaigns, events, and launches (e.g.,Educathon, Student Choice Awards, webinars, and campus activations).• Liaise with internal teams and agency partners to align messaging and timing.5. Social & Digital Amplification• Collaborate with the social media and content teams to extend PR stories across ownedplatforms.• Identify opportunities for influencer engagement and earned social visibility.Requirements• Experience: 3–4 years in PR, communications, or media relations (agency or in-house).• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or relatedfield.• Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication.- Basic understanding of media relations and press outreach.- Comfortable working with tight deadlines and multiple projects.- Attention to detail and a good sense for storytelling.- Familiarity with Google Sheets, media monitoring tools, and PR dashboards.What You’ll Gain• Exposure to national media, education editors, and top-tier publications.• Hands-on experience in brand storytelling, event amplification, and corporatecommunication.• A fast-paced, collaborative environment that
