Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Security Head to lead and strengthen our security operations across all projects and offices in India. This leadership role requires a seasoned security professional with a strong background in defense services, exceptional crisis management capabilities, and the ability to build and execute a comprehensive security strategy that ensures the safety of personnel, assets, and organizational reputation.

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to develop and maintain high standards of physical security, risk mitigation, emergency response, and compliance across all our sites. This is a critical position that demands collaboration with internal stakeholders, government agencies, law enforcement, and external vendors.

Key Responsibility Area :

• Oversee and lead end-to-end security operations across Listenlights' sites, offices, warehouses, and AMC projects.
• Create and implement robust SOPs and protocols for site security, emergency handling, visitor management, and asset protection.
• Manage on-ground security personnel, outsourced agencies, and internal coordination to ensure 24x7 vigilance and site safety.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across locations to mitigate any vulnerabilities.
• Liaise with local law enforcement, municipal bodies, and legal representatives as required.
• Ensure proper functioning and upgrades of electronic surveillance systems, fire safety tools, and access control mechanisms.
• Monitor and manage incident reports, theft, accidents, or breach cases with proper documentation and root cause analysis.
• Develop and review security budgets, manpower plans, and vendor SLAs.
• Provide periodic security MIS and dashboards to management, highlighting trends, risks, improvements, and compliance.
• Lead training and capacity-building sessions for security staff across regions – focusing on vigilance, emergency protocols, and conflict handling.
• Support the Admin and Project teams in new site mobilization, ensuring readiness of all security setups before project kick-off.
• Build a security culture aligned with Listenlights' values of safety, professionalism, and proactive risk management.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Education: Graduate in any discipline; additional certifications in security management preferred.
• Background: Ex-Serviceman from Army/Navy/Air Force with minimum 10 years of relevant security leadership experience.
• Experience: Prior exposure in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or multi-site companies is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, visitor protocols, and government liaison.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Hindi and English; regional language familiarity is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and reviews.
  • Willing to travel extensively to project and client sites.
