Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Verify and reconcile invoices and payment requests.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams in Japanese and English.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- 4 to 12 yrs bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or similar role.
- Proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Certifications: JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) certification N1/N2
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Japanese business practices and culture.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
