The Incharge will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all activities related to the promotion and sale of books authored by Patrika Publication. This includes managing online sales, organizing canopy and stall installations at government exhibitions, fairs, company programs, and other approved events. The role also involves ensuring smooth coordination across all stages—from book finalization to pricing, marketing, achieving sales targets, and overall operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing Strategy

Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly and annual targets.

Identify and plan participation in relevant exhibitions, fairs, and events.

Explore new sales channels (online platforms, bulk sales, institutional tie-ups).

  • Event & Stall Management

Coordinate with government and event organizers to book stalls/canopies.

Arrange logistics, display materials, and inventory for each event.

Ensure attractive stall presentation and engaging customer interaction.

  • Book Preparation & Finalization

Work with the editorial/design teams to finalize content, cover design, and layout.

Coordinate pricing, printing quantities, and packaging details.

Ensure quality checks before books go to market.

  • Online Sales & Distribution

Manage online sales platforms and update listings regularly.

Ensure timely order processing, packaging, and delivery.

Track online sales performance and implement improvements.

  • Team Coordination

Lead and guide the publication sales team.

Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide training when needed.

  • Financial & Administrative Duties

Maintain records of sales, expenses, and stock levels.

Prepare sales reports for management review.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and event guidelines.

  • Relationship Management

Build strong connections with government bodies, event organizers, and vendors.

Handle customer queries and feedback professionally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, event management, or publication industry.
  • Experience in government liaison and stall/event execution will be an added advantage.
