Department Head- Quality

Position would be reporting to: Unit Head

Education Essential and Preferred: B.E. / B. Tech. from CIPET

Must have skills: Strong communication skills, System Audit knowledge, SAP.

Job Profile:

1) Leading internal and external audit as per schedule

2) Lead ISO/ENV/QMS/SEDEX/SMETA Audit as per schedule

3) Having thorough knowledge of lab equipment

4) Provide testing certification of raw materials/in-process products/Finished products and packing materials.

5) Collect, compile, analyze the quality data for internal rejection, supplier's rejection and customer complaints and initiate CAPA.

6) Knowledge of Six sigma, SPC, SQC and various quality tools.

7) Monitor quality system including updating and providing updated standard specifications, guidelines/work instructions in department. Special focus on repeating NC areas

8) To do product development & trials (for existing products), yield improvement and process optimization.

9) Analyzing the quality deviation against std. specification & accordingly revising the standard specification and taking corrective action / preventive action (in coordination with the respective department heads)

10) To set quality objectives and ensure its implementation. To quantify periodically, submit for management review

11) Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and reduce complaints. Coordination in settlement of Customer Complaints within specified limit

12) Compliance of new policies and activities given by management within specified limit.

13) Develop and implement quality plan, inspection plan and sampling plan.
