Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with deep technical expertise in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, People Tools, and integration with third-party applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, and technical components like People Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.

This role involves collaborating with business users, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing technical customizations and integrations to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements from end users and design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Transform functional requirements into technical specifications and advise on optimal solutions for business challenges.
  • Develop and implement technical designs for PeopleSoft HCM Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor modules, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems like ADP Payroll, Workday, and Taleo.
  • Perform unit testing of changes and assist end users with system testing to ensure solutions meet expectations.
  • Develop and maintain PeopleSoft system components, including Application Engine programs, People Code, Integration Broker, and Component Interfaces.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical requirement discussions, and deployment processes.
  • Document configurations, processes, and participate in walkthroughs to ensure smooth knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, creating and executing performance tuning scripts as needed.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical PeopleSoft applications and interfaces.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and People Tools.
  • Strong expertise in Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of Integration Broker, People Code, Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, BI Publisher, and Approval Framework.
  • Proficiency in setting up secure file transfers using PSFTP, SSH, and encryption/decryption using PGP.
  • Experience with Oracle programming (9i, 10G, 11G) and SQL Server 2012.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and third-party migration tools like STAT.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project management, including end-to-end project phases and team interactions.
  • Expertise in third-party integrations with systems like ADP Payroll, Workday, OnBase, Taleo, and iCIMS.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, parallel testing, and validation services for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Familiarity with Autosys Schedule Tool for job scheduling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on coding standards, scalability, usability, and performance.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
