Position OverviewThe UX Designer is an expert designer with strong interaction and UI design skills, creating engaging and intuitive design that helps users achieve goals while instilling confidence in the brand. You will craft memorable experiences, optimize flows, and reimagine the UX of pivotal moments in a user's journey. You will be responsible for the design of numerous product features. Produce and direct web-based, interactive prototypes of varying levels of fidelity that support client and user feedback in the context of the supported application. Work closely with designers, researchers, product managers, engineering, and business stakeholders to uncover customer needs, design solutions, and test ideas that bring the most value to the customer and business. Core ResponsibilitiesYou can develop concepts from ideation to execution.You have a love for crafting simple, beautiful software experiences.Great attention to detail.You are comfortable experimenting and iterating on ideas.Familiar with web patterns and design frameworks.You welcome criticism, feedback and can defend design decisions for the good of the product and customer. Love validating on product designs with customers. Ability to work on more than one project at a time.Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs to test and improve existing features. Qualifications3+ years of experience in interaction design, user interface design, and user experience research or related fieldStrong command of visual design, interaction design and information architecture.Capable of communicating and prototyping interactions rapidly at all levels of fidelity.Working knowledge of UI and Web Patterns.Familiar with working with design systemsComfortable with user research and utilizing data to inform decisions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Collaborate with cross-platform teams, including Product Managers, Stakeholders, and EngineeringProven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects.Experience in the Online Learning industry, especially professional education, or Ecommerce is a plus.
