Job Overview: Design the Future of Learning

We are seeking a passionate and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. This role is a key opportunity to shape the digital learning experiences for the next generation of scientists and engineers. You will be responsible for creating not just interfaces, but intuitive, engaging, and joyful user journeys that make complex STEM concepts accessible and fun. If you possess a strong design portfolio, can lead by example, and thrive on turning complex problems into elegant digital solutions, we want to see your work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design & Strategy Leadership:

  2. Innovate & Define: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to conceptualize, define, and implement innovative UI/UX solutions for our core EdTech platforms and digital content.

  3. User-Centric Visuals: Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in UI and Web Design by creating visually stunning, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that maintain brand consistency.

  4. Design Systems: Establish, maintain, and promote scalable design guidelines, components, and best practices across all digital products.

  5. Research & Validation:

  6. Deep User Understanding: Plan and conduct various user research methods (user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiries) to deeply understand the needs and behaviors of our students and educators.

  7. Requirements Documentation: Translate research findings and business goals into clear, actionable project requirements and user stories to effectively guide the development team.

  8. Execution & Collaboration:

  9. Problem Solver: Convert complex pedagogical and technical problems into simple, user-friendly, and delightful interfaces using wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  10. Collaborate & Mentor: Act as a key bridge between Project Managers, Developers, and end-users, ensuring design integrity throughout the development lifecycle. Provide mentorship and design critique to team members.
  11. Stay Ahead: Continuously monitor and incorporate the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to deliver cutting-edge user experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated UX/UI design experience.
  • Portfolio: A strong, demonstrably impactful portfolio showcasing your UX process, UI skills, and design methodology (must be submitted with application).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Soft Skills: Proven ability to communicate design rationale clearly, take initiative, and lead design discussions
