Job DescriptionRole Overview We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Lead - IPO Advisory to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to guide SMEs and startups through successful capital market transactions, particularly IPOs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships, a deep understanding of capital markets, and a knack for identifying and closing high-value opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients for IPO and capital market transactions by researching trends, analyzing data, and leveraging networks for high-quality leads. Relationship Building: Foster strong ties with SME promoters, CFOs, institutional investors, family offices, and channel partners.Pitch Development: Craft tailored pitch decks highlighting market opportunities, valuations, and strategic insights.Deal Origination: Drive IPO, Pre-IPO, and private equity deals by understanding client goals and proposing customized solutions.Industry Analysis: Research target industries and companies using reports and public data for actionable insights.Collaboration: Partner with internal advisory and valuation teams for seamless deal execution.Regulatory Expertise: Stay updated on SEBI regulations and industry practices for compliant client guidance.Client Engagement: Expand reach through cold calling, networking events, and partnerships with banks and wealth firms.Performance Tracking: Monitor target companies’ financials and market positioning for strategic opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Experience1-3 years of proven experience in investment banking, capital markets, or business development, with a focus on IPO origination or similar financial advisory roles.Capital Markets Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IPO process, including deal structuring, due diligence, valuation methodologies, and regulatory compliance.Communication & Presentation: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive pitches and engage with diverse stakeholders.Networking & Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and nurturing relationships with senior executives, investors, and industry partners.Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively, secure mandates, and manage complex deal processes with confidence.Drive & Initiative: A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast paced environment
