Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed designs for skylights and custom structures using specialized software.
  • Create accurate and detailed drawings in Google SketchUp, AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.
  • Collaborate with the production team to translate designs into practical, manufacturable products.
  • Prepare and provide accurate quotes and material estimates based on design drafts.
  • Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients or the production team.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies in window and skylight fabrication.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Architecture, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering would be preferred
  • Proficiency in Google SketchUp, AutoCAD and any of the above mentioned softwares.
  • Experience in drafting and design, specifically with skylights and creative complex structures.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and material specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt designs to meet functional and aesthetic needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Creativity and innovation in design.
