About the Role

As part of a large-scale initiative to hire 100+ Java Full Stack Developers, we are seeking experienced Java Developer Technical Screeners to conduct in-depth technical evaluations of candidates. You will play a critical role in ensuring only the most qualified professionals move forward in the hiring process. This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity, ideal for senior engineers who enjoy assessing technical talent and influencing team growth at scale and also with fulltime jobs and wants to have an additional income.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical interviews and coding assessments for Java Full Stack developer candidates (6–12 years experience range).
  • Evaluate candidates’ proficiency across backend, frontend, cloud, DevOps, and testing technologies.
  • Design and administer live coding challenges, problem-solving questions, and scenario-based discussions.
  • Assess candidates’ ability to design microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Evaluate practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Screen for strong DevOps skills (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Validate frontend expertise in Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Review candidates’ understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Assess testing knowledge with JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber.
  • Provide structured feedback and recommendations to hiring managers and recruiting teams.
  • Collaborate with recruitment operations to standardize evaluation criteria and ensure fairness across all interviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Java Full Stack development experience.
  • Prior experience conducting technical interviews or mentoring developers.
  • Strong technical expertise across:
  • Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, S3), Terraform/CloudFormation.
  • DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Frontend: Angular or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and feedback delivery skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Technical Screener, Interviewer, or Tech Lead.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
  • Experience with messaging/streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong ability to differentiate between theoretical knowledge and real-world hands-on experience.

Compensation & Engagement

  • ₹500–700 INR per interview conducted (based on experience).
  • Part-time / seasonal opportunity with flexible scheduling.
