Role: Liferay Developer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid - India (3x days onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Liferay Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web portal solutions using Liferay 7.x DXP. The role involves end-to-end portal development, integration, and support, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize Liferay portals, portlets, themes, and WCM features.
• Configure Liferay sites, organizations, permissions, and integrations.
• Implement and maintain web services, logging, analytics, and audit features.
• Ensure portal performance, usability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support deployments in production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead offshore resources as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years Java/J2EE development experience with Spring/Hibernate.
• 5+ years of hands-on Liferay development (Liferay 7.x DXP required).
• Strong knowledge of OSGi, MVC design pattern, and enterprise system integrations.
• Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for UI development.
• Experience with code management, build, and deployment tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
