This is a chance to make a significant impact at a company that is shaping the future of AI and data management.Our commitment to innovation, customer success, and market leadership makes this an exciting and rewarding role for a driven professional looking to make a lasting impact in the world of AI and data storage.Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance solutions within the EXA Data Services (S3DS/NSDS) product line.The candidate should have a strong background in Java, Spring Framework, and distributed systems architecture, with proven experience in building large-scale storage or data service products end-to-end.Key Responsibilities:Define and own the architecture, design, and technical roadmap for S3DataService component.Lead the product lifecycle from requirements and design to development, testing, and release.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and reviews for the engineering team.Drive improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability of distributed data systems.Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Support (L3) teams to ensure stability and quality.Evaluate and implement customer-driven features in collaboration with Product Management.Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.Required Skills and Experience:Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data), and server-side programming.Hands-on experience with Maven, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.Solid understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and distributed systems.Deep knowledge of data storage, Big Data systems, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch.Experience with S3 object storage protocol and related storage technologies.Strong foundation in Linux, networking, and infrastructure-level debugging.Proven ability to lead design and implementation for large-scale enterprise systems.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.Experience with Python, containerization (Podman/Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD workflows.Prior experience with distributed file systems or high-availability storage solutions.Understanding of security, data consistency, and fault-tolerant architectures.
