About Us

Startup Movers is a trusted business advisory firm that has empowered over 3,000 startups, including multiple unicorns, with expert services in accounting, taxation, legal compliance, CFO services, and business process optimization. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our sales and business development efforts while gaining hands-on experience in the startup ecosystem.

Industry: Business Services (Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Startup Advisory)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Generate leads through cold calls, emails, outreach, and networking.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the customer database and CRM systems.

2. Client Engagement & Sales Support

  • Reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, and follow-ups to introduce our services.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and pitch decks.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, demos, and introductory calls.
  • Shadow senior business development executives during client interactions and negotiations.

3. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Support the team in identifying new business opportunities within the startup and corporate ecosystem.
  • Assist in tracking sales performance, analyzing key metrics, and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead-generation campaigns.

4. Relationship Management & Networking

  • Maintain relationships with existing and potential clients through regular follow-ups.
  • Assist in organizing networking events, webinars, and partnership collaborations.
  • Gather feedback from clients and suggest improvements in services and sales strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Basic understanding of B2B sales, lead generation, and business development.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and for outreach is a plus.
  • Interest in the startup ecosystem and business consulting is preferred.
