Product Manager- B2B Sales (Electrical & Electronics Industries Only)
Minimum 5 Yrs of Experience in Product Management with B2B Sales in Electrical & Electronics Industry.
Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven candidate to join our team, focusing on Electrical Industrial Components. This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth, developing strong customer relationships, and bridging technical and commercial needs to position our products competitively in both domestic and global markets.
Products Reference:
Cable Glands, Lugs, Wiring Ducts, Din Rail, Enclosures, Plug & Socket, Interface Module, Timers & Power Supply etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Commercial Leadership
- Drive business expansion through existing accounts and onboarding new customers.
- Lead pre-sales engagements such as technical/product presentations to support RFQ or LOI generation.
- Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, development costs, and contracts.
- Perform market and competitor analysis to inform pricing and product strategy.
2. Customer Engagement & Strategic Development
- Develop customer-focused strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Analyze customer potential, market trends, and competitor positioning.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships; manage escalations effectively.
- Track industry innovations and integrate them into the product strategy.
3. Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering and R&D teams to ensure customer needs are translated into viable solutions.
- Lead technical events such as seminars and innovation showcases to promote product capabilities.
- Support the documentation process and keep stakeholders updated on project development.
4. Sales & Market Development
- Accelerate sales growth for electrical product lines across local and international markets.
- Ensure standardized business terms (payments, deliveries, contracts) are aligned with best practices.
- Organize and participate in top-level QCDD (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Development) meetings with clients and leadership.
5. Data-Driven Product Strategy
- Use customer and market data to craft targeted product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct detailed competitor mapping and customer profiling to identify new business opportunities.
6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the central point of contact for customer/internal issues, driving resolution in a timely manner.
- Represent the company in strategic discussions, ensuring alignment with customer and organizational goals.
- Plan and execute innovation-led events to reinforce our position as a key industry partner.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation), MBA will be a plus
- Minimum 4-5 Yrs of Experience in Product Management with B2B Sales in Electrical Industry.
- Proven experience in product management, sales, or business development, preferably in the Electrical & Electronics sector.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Technical background or familiarity with engineering and R&D processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
